Close to home

During the summer of 2023 I spent many nights wandering around the city until dawn. I got to walk among the restless and observe them under the moonlight. At times, their expressions were filled with wonder and joyful little smiles, their strides almost floating; other times, their eyes seemed somber and powerful, and their footsteps heavy; and sometimes their gazes hinted at an imaginary inner world while their bodies moved around slowly in the physical world surrounding them. This small collection of dresses was inspired by these nights. Each dress tells a different story and has a different character, like the nocturnal figures I had walked among. Naturally, we shot the collection while roaming Tel-Aviv's Independence Park at night.
