T.K's debut collection draws inspiration from Social realism and Socialist realism - influential art movements where artists from around the world and across time depicted the life and craft of working people.

This collection is made mostly from vintage, locally manufactured fabrics, woven originally for the cheese, tent and bed linen industries in a small weaving factory in Rishon Le'Zion that is now defunct. All fabrics are 100% cotton, made particularly durable for extensive use. All items were sewn in small workshops around Tel-Aviv. The patterns were made based on workwear from Kushnir's archive: garments that arrived in the Middle East during the British mandate and with the spread of the socialist movement world-wide.

These work clothes were worn extensively by all members of society for decades and still resonate in local dressing habits.
